| Lotto.co.uk has never had any part in running offline or online
lotteries. If you have received any emails suggesting you have won
a prize, which appear to be from lotto.co.uk, then this is a known
scam. The UK metropolitan police are aware of this.
The most recent scam refers to Air Menzies International Ltd (AMI),
a subsidiary of John Menzies PLC. We would like to make it absolutely
clear that any email claiming that AMI is responsible for sending
out winnings is not true. This is simply a typical advance fee fraud.
Some advance fee fraud messages use forged email addresses which
might appear to be from lotto.co.uk, however we emphasise we have
no part in this and strongly advise any recipient to take no part
in the scheme. The following names are known to be associated with
this fraud, but there are probably many others:
